Give yourself the ability to make a change in your life today. This is step one of a ten step process… a completely doable process you’ll love.
How to Make a Change in Your Life
Ask Yourself the Hard Questions.
Take a look at your life right now. Are there certain areas in your life that need more attention? Perhaps you need to reconnect with your family, create deeper friendships, live healthier, work on your marriage, your faith, etc. What is it you need to nurture? Now, consider how this would affect you, your family, or anyone important in your life?
What is Holding You Back?
Why aren’t you working on this “thing” you want to be more prominent in your life? Let me answer that for you. I would gather to say, you are trying to do too many things at once. You’re living the lie many people live by telling yourself you should be doing more, you can have it all, there’s nothing you can’t do. Though you may be very capable at completing every task you set out to conquer, are you doing it all well?
Will it be Worth it?
Now hear this, so you don’t tell yourself anymore lies. When you start something new, it is perfectly fine to make mistakes. Doing it right the first time isn’t necessary, nor is it realistic. Do your best everyday and if you make a mistake, do better the following day. Above all, learn to live right where you are at that very moment. Be present (it’s called that because it is a gift from God).
Get Started Making a Change
Thoughtfully write down what you are choosing to nurture.
Write down how it will affect you and those around you.
Lastly, write down what needs to go on the back burner for right now.
