Our lives are a true blessing, but be that is it may, we often forget to say thank you for our little God-given graces.  Everyday I’m thankful for my home and that I don’t have to worry about where I’ll be at the end of the day.  I praise the Lord for my healthy family even through all the crazy sickness we went through the first few months of 2018.  Things could have been much worse I know.

My family here in Tulsa is my everything and I have the most gratitude for them because my life would be hopeless without my husband and children.  My family back home are the ones who have made me who I am and again truly blessed.  Without them I would not have my faith,  this beautiful Catholic faith I’m just now getting to fully indulge in and beginning to understand how great it truly is.  My community of people both in Oklahoma and in Missouri have saved me from many hardships and despair whether they realize it or not.  For all this, and more, I’m grateful for in great abundance and I don’t take the time to say thank you for it all EVERY SINGLE DAY… that stops now.

Father in Heaven, Creator of all,
and source of all goodness and love,
please look kindly upon us
and receive our heartfelt gratitude
in this time of giving thanks.

Thank you for all the graces and blessings
You have bestowed upon us,
spiritual and temporal:
our faith and religious heritage,
our food and shelter, our health,
the love we have for one another,
our family and friends.

Dear Father, in Your infinite generosity,
please grant us continued graces
and blessing throughout the coming year.

We ask this through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son,
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit,
one God, forever and ever. Amen.
